What media training offers

We cover how to prepare for a media interview, how to prioritise your messages, how to articulate them with clarity and authority, how to deal with difficult questions, how to handle aggressive reporters and presenters, how to ensure that your brand values remain paramount whatever the difficulties faced during an interview.

Our workshops address all three aspects of being interviewed.

Message development is the strategic process of creating clear, compelling and consistent messages to effectively communicate your goals, values and information to a specific target audience thus building trust and enhancing credibility.

Our workshops include mock-news scenarios relevant to your industry whereby you appear on camera and are interviewed by Mick Ord as if it was a real-life crisis you were facing. Trainees are coaching into how to prepare for an interview and how to deal with difficult questions under pressure. Trainees are then given full feedback after each mock interview. After three such interviews trainees demonstrably improve in performance and self-confidence.
